Our Story

Here’s a glimpse of how Faith Chai began — not through business plans or strategy, but through God’s timing, guidance, and grace.

My name is Sunny Soni, and I’m originally from New Delhi, India. In 2018, my wife Angela and I moved to the United States to attend Charis Bible College. The gospel had transformed our lives, and we believed God was calling us to pursue Him through a three-year ministry program.

During this time, Angela became pregnant with our first daughter, Faith. While preparing for this new season of parenthood, the global pandemic hit, and we made the difficult decision to return to India. That season brought uncertainty and challenges — yet through it all, God’s Word grew deeper in our hearts day by day, strengthening our faith and guiding our steps.

As we prayed and waited on the Lord for direction and provision, Angela had a vivid dream: she saw rich black tea pouring down from a high shelf — overflowing in abundance. At first, we laughed, thinking perhaps it was simply because we love chai so much. But the more we prayed, the clearer it became — God was revealing His purpose and plan for our family.

A Calling, Not Just a Business

When we returned to the United States in late 2021, doors began to open — gently, unexpectedly, and unmistakably by God’s hand. In 2022, Faith Chai officially began.

From the first cup served at local farmers markets to large vendor events — where crowds gathered even when halls were empty — we witnessed God's favor again and again. Customers became friends. Friends became family. Lives were touched — not just by the tea, but by the testimony behind it.

Today, more than three years later, we remain humbled by what God has done. We know with confidence that this business does not belong to us — it belongs to Him.
We are simply stewards of what He has entrusted to us. And we are certain that our story is only just beginning.
